Dysphagia

Supporting difficulty swallowing food and fluids across the lifespan

Two women, one dressed as a nurse and the other possibly a patient or supportive partner, are sitting on a gray sofa with a baby between them. The nurse is in purple scrubs, wearing a stethoscope, and holding the baby, while the other woman, in a white shirt and jeans, is smiling and looking at the baby. A small round table in front holds books, candles, and a pink decorative ball. A potted plant is on the left, and a glass of water and other items are on the table. They seem to be in a cozy, modern room.

LSVT LOUD

LSVT LOUD is administered intensively for 16 sessions [60 minutes each] either face to face or telehealth, over a one-month period.

Maintenance sessions are recommended post-intensive block to support carry over into everyday communication.

Of note: because it is a high intensity program, you will require a referral to an Ear Nose and Throat specialist (ENT) to assess vocal pathophysiology prior to treatment commencing.
