Fees
At Growing Harts Therapies, we aim to provide you with transparency on the structure of your appointments and all correspondence.
We offer home-visits, clinic based and telehealth appointments to suit your needs.
Our prices are benchmarked against current National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) pricing of $193.99 per hour, which is the industry standard rate for private speech pathology services. Lactation services will align with this to be equitable and consistent with all care provision.
Initial Feeding Assessment
Face-to-face or telehealth: 90 minutes (60 minute appointment, 30 minutes preparation, administration and clinical correspondence) $291
Review
Face-to-face or telehealth: 60 minutes (50 minute appointment and 10 minutes administration) $193.99
Phone review: 30 minutes (20 minute appointment and 10 minutes administration) $97.00
Additional Services
Clinical report/summary, written/verbal correspondence with key stakeholders and resource development:
$193.99 per hour (i.e. 30 minute clinical summary $97.00)
Antenatal Lactation Support or post-natal lactation/breastfeeding assessment
Face-to-face or telehealth/phone antenatal consult: 45 minutes (30 minute appointment and clinical administration) $145
30 minute phone consult (ad-hoc review and recommendations) $97.00
Initial Face-to-face feeding assessment: 90 minutes (60 minute appointment, 30 minutes preparation, administration and clinical correspondence) $250
Travel
Standard fee: $32.33 per 10 minutes of travel (this is based off the hourly rate). This fee will be provided on an individual basis calculated on the distance from Tweed Heads, NSW 2485. Where able, the charge is distributed between clients seen on the same day.
NDIS participants: up-to 30 minutes each way (based off hourly rate and travel distribution as above)

Private Health: Please contact your private health provider to discuss eligibility for speech pathology services.
Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC): Please contact your GP to discuss eligibility for speech pathology services (5 individual sessions of service per calendar year). Please note, the care plan needs to be addressed to Growing Harts Therapies / Olivia McGahey in order to be accepted and processed.
